Dr. Deborah Kennedy, BSc. MBA ND PhD
I’m Dr. Deborah Kennedy, a naturopathic doctor (ND) practicing in Ontario and Alberta, with a focus on women’s health and metabolic cancer support. With over 15+ years of clinical experience and a background that includes corporate leadership, I bring a unique perspective to healthcare. I believe in integrating science with tradition and to optimize health and healing.
My journey to naturopathic medicine began after realizing the disconnect between my corporate work and its impact on people. Seeking a more direct, meaningful connection, I pursued a naturopathic doctoral program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Committed to continuous learning, I completed the exclusive Metabolic Approach to Cancer Practitioner Certification program to enhance my ability to support cancer patients; maintaining membership in the network as a Terrain Certified Network Practitioner.
As well as clinical practice, my passion for research has been longstanding. From my early days as a student to receiving a career development grant from the SickKids Foundation for my PhD, research has been integral to my career. I continue to engage in research, serve as an academic editor, and peer-review manuscripts to contribute to the advancement of natural medicine and patient care.
